Spitzer & Mareva are a fiercely passionate and commanding vocal group. With a deep repertoire of sea shanties and ballads of the British Isles, the duo draws inspiration from the Watersons, the Young Tradition, Smithsonian recordings and their peers. As members of Chicago folk music collective Old Lazarus’ Harp, they produce regular community dances, concerts and festivals around the city.
